1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Repodin services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to: - All registered users - Trial and paid subscribers - Beta testers and early access users - Anyone accessing our platform or services

2. Service Description

Repodin Services: Repodin provides AI-powered code analysis services for teachers, educational institutions, and developers, including: - AI-powered code repository analysis and automated feedback - Student submission tracking and progress monitoring (education) - Educational evaluation tools for teachers and institutions - Course and assignment management for GitHub-based courses - Skills reports, portfolio analytics, and shareable profiles for developers (developer B2C) - Automated reporting and actionable insights Service Availability: - Services are available through our web platform - Analysis results are generated using AI systems - Features may vary by subscription tier - We continuously improve and update our services

3. Account Registration

Creating an Account: - You must provide accurate and complete information - You must be at least 16 years old - One account per email address - You are responsible for maintaining account security - We reserve the right to remove duplicate or fraudulent accounts Account Security: - You are responsible for keeping your password secure - Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access - We may suspend accounts that pose security risks Trial Access: - Trial accounts have limited features and usage quotas - Trial access is subject to our fair use policy - We reserve the right to modify trial terms Education Accounts for Students: - In education use, a student may be granted a limited-purpose account solely to authorize repository access at their teacher's or institution's direction - Such accounts do not require the student to independently meet the age 16 threshold above; the institution is responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consent required under applicable local law - Repodin does not independently verify student age in this flow and relies on the institution's own consent process

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to: - Provide accurate information - Maintain the confidentiality of your account - Not use the service for illegal purposes - Not attempt to compromise service security - Not abuse or spam the service - Respect intellectual property rights - Comply with applicable laws and regulations

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You may NOT: - Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others - Upload malicious code or malware - Attempt to access unauthorized data - Reverse engineer or copy our technology - Use automated tools to scrape data - Impersonate others or create fake accounts - Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

Our Content: Repodin owns or licenses the service content, branding and software. Third-party AI models and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective rightsholders. Your Content: When you use our service, you retain ownership of your code and data. However, you grant us a limited license to: - Analyze your code using our AI - Generate insights and reports - Process the content only to provide and improve the requested service; we do not currently use it to train general AI models - Display your public GitHub data

7. Privacy and Data

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points: - We collect minimal data from waitlist members - Core application data is hosted in the EU; selected providers may process limited data outside the EU/EEA using applicable transfer safeguards - We will never sell your data - You can request deletion at any time In education use, the institution may act as the controller for student data; in that case, the institution's own privacy terms complement this description. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. EU AI Act — Transparency and Compliance

Repodin uses artificial intelligence to analyze code and generate feedback. We do not make a blanket risk classification: the EU AI Act classification depends on each system's intended purpose and actual use. Before production use, we assess education, employment and other use cases separately and apply the obligations relevant to each use case. Your rights: - Right to know when AI is being used - Right to explanation of AI decisions - Right to human review of AI results - Right to opt-out (with limitations) - Right to access your AI-generated data Our compliance measures: - We clearly indicate when AI is used - AI decision-making is documented and auditable - Human review is available on request - We document AI limitations and accuracy Important: - AI analysis is for informational purposes only - Not a substitute for professional code review - Results should be interpreted with context In developer use, we do not make automated hiring or career decisions on your behalf. 9. Service Availability

No Guarantee: We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee: - Uninterrupted access - Error-free operation - Specific uptime percentages (during beta) Maintenance: We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We will provide advance notice when possible. Changes to Service: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

10. Beta Testing

Beta Access: Early access users acknowledge that: - The service is in beta and may contain bugs - Features may change or be removed - Data loss may occur (though we take precautions) - Performance may vary - We appreciate feedback and bug reports Feedback: By providing feedback, you grant us the right to use it to improve our service without compensation.

11. Pricing and Payment

Pre-launch status: Repodin is currently in research and development. Stripe operates only in sandbox/test mode and no paid consumer contract can currently be concluded. Before payments open, we will publish the registered operator's details, final prices and taxes, contract duration and termination terms, functionality and compatibility information, and the statutory cancellation instructions and model cancellation form. Planned pricing structure: Repodin offers: - Trial tier (limited features) - Subscription plans (monthly/annual) - Education institution licensing - Developer subscriptions and credit packs (developer B2C) - Custom pricing for institutions and pilots Payment Terms: - Subscriptions are billed in advance - All prices are in EUR unless otherwise stated - Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers - Failed payments may result in service suspension Early Access Benefits: Early users may receive special pricing or features, subject to availability and terms. Consumer withdrawal and refunds: The final policy will distinguish digital services from digital content. Any loss of the statutory 14-day withdrawal right will require the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement in the form required by law. For a service started during the withdrawal period at the consumer's request, only the lawful proportionate amount may be charged. Instructions and a model withdrawal form will be provided before checkout opens.

12. Termination

By You: You may stop using our services and delete your account at any time. By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you: - Violate these terms - Engage in fraudulent activity - Abuse the service - Pose a security risk We will provide notice when possible, except for serious violations.

13. Disclaimers

As-Is Service: Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. No Professional Advice: Repodin provides analysis and insights, but not professional career advice, legal advice, or hiring decisions. Users are responsible for their own decisions. Third-Party Content: We analyze public GitHub data. We are not responsible for the accuracy or quality of third-party content.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repodin shall not be liable for: - Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages - Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities - Service interruptions or data loss - Actions of other users For business users, any contractual liability cap will be agreed in the applicable order or institutional agreement. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for intentional conduct, gross negligence or personal injury.

15. Indemnification

This section applies only to business and institutional users, to the extent permitted by law. You agree to indemnify Repodin from third-party claims arising from: - Your violation of these terms - Your use of the service - Your violation of any third-party rights

16. Content reports and the Digital Services Act

Repodin has not adopted a blanket Digital Services Act platform classification. The classification depends on which production features store or disseminate user-provided information to the public and will be reassessed before those features launch. Regardless of classification, suspected illegal or rights-infringing content can be reported to support@repodin.com. We review reports and take appropriate action.

17. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. Email support@repodin.com with a clear description of the issue. We will respond within 5 business days and work in good faith to resolve the matter. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you may use out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms: - Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board are available for consumer disputes - Consumers may bring proceedings before a court that has jurisdiction under mandatory law; arbitration applies only if separately agreed with a business customer Contact for Disputes: Email: support@repodin.com We will acknowledge your dispute within 5 business days.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or service announcement. Changes that materially affect an existing paid consumer contract are made only on a valid contractual or statutory basis and with reasonable advance notice. If consent is required, continued use alone is not treated as consent.
