LTI 1.3 Setup Guide

Register RepodIn as an LTI 1.3 external tool in your school's Moodle instance. Once registered, all teachers can launch RepodIn from any Moodle course with single sign-on — no API tokens needed.

    Contact RepodIn to get your LTI credentials

    Email support@repodin.com with your school name and Moodle URL. We will create your school's LTI platform record and send you the credentials within one business day.

    Open Moodle: Site administration → Plugins → External tool → Manage tools

    Log in to Moodle as a Site Administrator. Navigate to Site administration → Plugins → Activity modules → External tool → Manage tools.

    Add RepodIn as an external tool

    Click “Add tool manually” (or “Configure a tool manually”). Fill in the fields shown in the next step.

    Save and share with teachers

    Save the tool. Teachers can now find RepodIn in the “External tool” activity picker when adding activities to their Moodle courses — no token required.

What happens after setup

  • Teachers add RepodIn as an “External tool” activity in any Moodle course
  • Students click the activity → RepodIn opens with SSO (no separate login)
  • RepodIn auto-provisions the course and student roster on first launch
  • AI analysis runs on submitted assignments; grades sync back to Moodle gradebook
